Travel Meditations Paintings

Ms. Bubier, an accomplished painter, has spent time in the last three years traveling and attending various artists' residencies. At the Atlantic Center for the Arts in Florida in 1998, she worked with Master artists Pat Steir and Eve Ascheim, eight visual artists, four composers and four art critics on a 72-acre residence on the Bay.

In May 1999 Cheryl spent time at the Artist Refuge in Montana, and then in February 2000 she was in Costa Rica on a mission trip building schools and churches.

After working all day, she would sketch at night and upon her return home the memory of the beautiful scenery and gracious people who captured her heart, inspired a series of paintings.
