The Office of Career Services supports students in developing lifelong traits and acquiring skills through a variety of educational programs and events that are a part of Stevenson’s unique Career ArchitectureSM process. As a Stevenson student, you will develop a better understanding of yourself and gain a broad range of experiences that will position you to enter your chosen field both competitively and well-connected. Dedicated Career Services staff will assist you during your journey. And if you are not sure what path to take, we will help you identify your values and interests and explore possible careers so that you can choose the courses and program that will help you meet your goals.

Exploring Your Options
Figuring out what you want to do with your life can be complicated. Career Advising and Counseling
Career counselors are available to meet individually with you to assist with career exploration, assessments, resume development, internships, and job searches. Don’t limit yourself to one visit! According to a National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) 2010 student survey, students who use their Career Center four or more times a semester are more likely to have job offers than those who use it only once. When scheduling an individual appointment, we will connect you with a Career Advisor or Industry Specialist.
Career Preparation
You know exactly where you are headed, so now what? Whether it is your first time writing a resume or cover letter or you are looking to change careers, career advisors can help. . Special Events and Activities
The Office of Career Services provides a wide range of fun and informative events and activities throughout the year geared toward understanding the world of work. Students will have the opportunity to interact with top executives, civic and government leaders, and hiring managers in such settings as the Networking and Etiquette Dinner and On-Campus Recruiting or during larger events such as the Career Fair or the Service-Learning and Civic Engagement Conference. Internship and Job Search
You are invited to search for internships and full and part-time jobs through our online job board, Stevenson Career Connections. You will need your student ID to log on. Currently, more than 300 positions are listed. Students can also register for career events such as the Networking and Etiquette Dinner or On-Campus Recruiting. As with any internship, please contact your Department Chair or Internship Coordinator for internship qualifications and expectations for your major.
