Important Dates for Accepted Transfer Students - Fall 2013

February 2013
Scholarships (merit):
  All eligible full-time transfer students who have been accepted into a traditional, non-accelerated program will be mailed a separate scholarship award letter on a rolling basis in February. Eligible students will receive a merit-based SU Transfer Scholarship award, as well as a SU Honors Scholarship if applicable (must provide proof of membership in PTK or other college honors program or society). There is no separate scholarship application. Applications are automatically considered if they are complete by May 1, 2013. Applications completed after this date will be reviewed for scholarships if funds are still available.

February 15, 2013
FAFSA Priority Deadline
You must submit the FAFSA if you wish to be considered for need-based financial aid.

April 6, 2013
President's Celebration for Accepted Students
Invitations to this event are extended to all admitted students and will be mailed starting in early February.

May 1, 2013
Enrollment Deposit & Housing Profile Form Due
Submit your $300 deposit along with your Enrollment Intent Form and Housing Profile Form (optional) by May 1 to secure your place for the Fall 2013 semester and to reserve on-campus housing, if desired. There is no separate housing deposit.

June 2013
Registration, Academic Advising, and Orientation for new accepted transfer and readmitted students will take place in late June. You will be required to attend a single, one-day program designed for your choice of major. An agenda of your June registration date will be mailed to you. Exact dates are listed below.

If you are enrolled in a college for the spring 2013 semester, please submit an official college transcript upon the completion of this coursework. Receipt of your transcript is critical for your registration, financial aid award, and in some cases, choice of residence hall. For appropriate advising during your registration in June, please bring a student copy of your spring 2013 transcript. If you are planning to enroll in a summer session, please bring that information with you and discuss this coursework with your advisor.

Tuition and Housing bills available online  
Your fall 2013 tuition and housing bill will be available on WebXpress before registration in June.  Paper copies of bills will also be mailed in June.
