- Q: What is a book voucher? Can I use my book voucher if I order books online?
- A: You are eligible for a book voucher if your financial aid is in excess of your tuition balance. If you have excess funds on your student account, the funds will be transferred to an account on your SUOne card approximately two weeks prior to the start of the semester. To use a Book Voucher- the student takes his/her SUOne card to the bookstore. The bookstore will swipe the card and will record the students name and the quantity of the available funds. The book voucher account will remain open and books can be purchased against it for the first three weeks of the semester or until the voucher balance is zero. After the voucher period closes, about three weeks into the semester, any unused funds are transferred back to the student account. When ordering online, you must use a credit card. You may still use your book voucher, though, by coming in to the bookstore, where they will refund your credit card and use the book voucher money instead. Questions? Call 443-334-2252.
