    • Q:   Are there services provided to students with disabilities?
    • A:   Yes. Stevenson University provides academic support services based on the needs presented by the disability. These services may include, but are not limited to:

      •Extended time on quizzes, tests, and exams
      •Notice to teachers explaining necessary accommodations
      •The use of recording devices, spell check tools, and/or calculators in class and/or on exams
      •Assistance registering for classes
      •Preferential class seating
      •Sign language assistance
      •Access to on-campus computers that are programmed for enlarged print and graphics
      •Referrals to other resources such as health services, rehabilitation facilities, and counseling options

      Stevenson University admits qualified students regardless of disability and welcomes students with disabilities into every area of life within the University. Students are encouraged to contact the Office of Academic Support Services (443-334-2332) during the application process or after acceptance to the University.
