Field Placements and Internships

Psychology majors are strongly encouraged to gain experience in the field through field placements or internships.  The field placement coordinator, Dr. Jeff Elliott, will work with students to identify suitable placements that match a student’s career interests. In addition to these clinical and research placements outside of the Psychology Department, a number of students have participated in Stevenson University Psychology Faculty research on the Effectiveness of Animal-assisted Therapy, Diversity in a University Setting, Disgust and Breast Feeding, and Differences in Cognitive Processing of Scientific and Religious Information.
