Technology Enhances Classroom Instruction

Most of the faculty in the Criminal Justice Program uses PowerPoint slides, movies on DVD, and other media as part of their instructional materials. In order to properly display their materials, our Criminal Justice classes are taught almost exclusively in one of our enhanced classrooms across campus, which contain state-of-the-art classroom presentation equipment including: a ceiling-mounted data/video projector, a computer within the instructor's podium, DVD/VHS player, document camera, and laptop connections.

The program provides students with in-depth knowledge of the components of criminal justice system and stages of criminal justice process.  Our curriculum includes coursework in criminal justice, criminology, ethics, research methods, law enforcement, corrections, juvenile justice, and criminal law and procedure.
