Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry and instrumental analysis

Analyze and solve problems in chemistry

Search, read and interpret current chemistry literature

Use knowledge of basic chemical principles to summarize and support a critical analysis of current scientific advances (including both professional literature and popular accounts), novel pharmaceutical agents, legislative and regulatory issues, environmental issues, biotechnological advances, and/or advances in medicine

Perform laboratory techniques in all areas of chemistry, applying the theoretical concepts learned in the lecture material, collecting and analyzing data, and expressing the results in a clearly written laboratory report or in an oral or poster presentation
