CAMPUSES AND HOUSING

The Greenspring Campus
Wander through this picturesque 60-acre campus located in scenic Stevenson, Maryland, and it is hard to imagine that you are so close to the attractions of Baltimore. Recent enhancements to our Greenspring Campus include a student center, sports complex, 330-seat theatre, additional classrooms, video studios, and additional computer labs.

Owings Mills, MD Campus
Stevenson University is proud to offer an exciting new academic and residential facility just six miles from the Greenspring Campus: the Owings Mills Campus. This campus include 10 residential buildings, an assortment of classrooms and study lounges, the 10,000-square foot Ratcliffe Community Center, and the Caves Sports and Wellness  Center-former training facility of the Baltimore Ravens. The Rockland Center offers a variety of food stations and seating options, as well as meeting areas for gatherings of student clubs and organizations. Parking is available for student residents, as well as a free shuttle service to the Greenspring Campus.

CAREER ARCHITECTURE

A program unique to Stevenson, Career Architecture is designed to give students an edge in today's competitive job market. The programs helps students select an appropriate field of study based on their individual values, interests, and skills. Each student's Career Architecture experience is individually tailored to his or her needs and goals.

The program offers multiple resources, including:

  • Individual career counseling sessions
  • Group presentations, activities, and seminars
  • Resume critiques
  • Mock interviews
  • Computerized career assessment tools
  • On-campus recruiting events

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

At SU, we believe higher education should not be limited to the college classroom. Experiential Learning offers several ways for students to explore educational opportunities outside the classroom, including:

  • Internships: Earn academic credit while gaining on-the-job experience within your field of study.
  • Service Learning: Many SU students volunteer their services to local, regional, national, and global service organizations.
  • Study Abroad: SU students have the opportunity to enhance their college experience by studying abroad in a variety of countries, including: England, Italy, Australia, and Kenya.

ATHLETICS

Affiliated with the NCAA in Division III, Stevenson offers a wide range of competitive athletic teams. The University's athletic teams compete in the Middle Athletic Conferences with the exception of men's volleyball which plays in the Continental Volleyball Conference.

Stevenson boasts some of the finest athletic facilities in Division III in the 3,500-seat Mustang Stadium, 60,000-square foot Owings Mills Gymnasium and former headquarters of the NFL's Baltimore Colts and Ravens, the Caves Sports and Wellness Center.

THE ARTS

Performing Arts:
SU's 330-seat Inscape Theatre is host to a number of productions each years, while the smaller Studio Theatre provides a flexible space for experimental performances. Past state performances include: Working, The Good Doctor, Full Moon, Blood Wedding, and Hair!

Visual Arts:
The Stevenson University Art Gallery is a museum-quality space where the work of student, regional, and national artists is displayed. The Gallery hosts a series of seven exhibitions each year. In addition, faculty and student work is on display at various time in the Art Wing, Studio Gallery, St. Paul Companies Pavilion and in other areas around campus
