The Office of Career Services connects employers with students and alumni through a variety of free resources. Our opportunities are tailored to fit the individual needs of the employer to maximize exposure and establish organizational brand, expand cultural competency, and make your partnership with Stevenson University a success.

Networking and Etiquette Dinner
Each semester, the Office of Career Services invites the founder of the International School of Protocol to present to students the principles and importance of business etiquette. During the dinner, which is conducted in a fun environment, students are served a three-course meal and sit with industry representatives to learn about appropriate protocol and networking in a business meal setting.
On-Campus Recruiting offers a streamlined approach to meet qualified candidates. The process is easy: select a date, decide on full-day or half-day interviews, and choose either 30- or 45-minute interview slots. Once your date is approved and we have your position title(s) and job description(s), we handle all the rest, including providing you with a diverse selection of students prepared for the world of work. Internships give students to valuable, hands-on, real-world experiences and teach them practical skills in their chosen field. Students participate in for-credit and non-credit internships while applying their education to real-life situations. Students participating in an internship for credit generally coordinate these experiences directly through the department. Click here for a list of internship coordinators listed by major. However, employers are encouraged to post internship opportunities on our online job board, Stevenson Career Connections.
As many employers already know, Stevenson University graduates are great employees! Our complimentary job board, Stevenson Career Connections, allows you to post internships and full and part-time employment opportunities. We are not only a valuable resource for current undergraduate and graduate students, but we continue to serve our graduate students and alumni as well.
Our Career Service staff is often contacted by faculty members to arrange speakers from business, government, and nonprofit organizations on a variety of career topics. To keep your name and company on file, please contact at our office at 443-352-4477 or email@example.com. To initiate a classroom visit, please contact us with the major and class year you would like to target and the reason for your visit (career path advice, resume assistance, industry updates, career sustainability, global partnerships, etc.). We will need permission from the instructor and may need two-weeks’ notice.
Event Sponsorship and Advertising
The Office of Career Services (OCS) is proud to bring employers the opportunity to increase awareness of their organization by co-branding with OCS on career programs. By joining OCS your organization is aligned with the national leader in career education and will enhance name recognition among Stevenson students, faculty, and staff. Sponsorship opportunities will be an avenue to advertise more widely through a variety of venues for purposes of assisting organizations in gaining more name recognition among students on campus. Some organizations set up tables in our high-traffic areas such as the Manuzack Center on our Greenspring campus or in Rockland Center on our Owings Mills campus. Mock Interview Program
Career Services offers students the chance to participate in Mock Interviews before interviewing for an internship, career, or graduate school program. Lasting around 30 minutes, an employer-conducted mock interview is a valuable career tool for our students and another opportunity for employers to increase their visibility to our students and interest them as potential employees.
