Homecoming and Family Weekend
 
 
Please note. Tickets for the happy hour, football game and crab feast are no longer being mailed as of 10/15/2012.
  • Happy Hour tickets will be available for pickup at the registration table the evening of the event at Mustang Stadium from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19th.
  • Football and Crab Feast tickets will be available for pickup at the Alumni and Parent hospitality tent during the Family Fanfare and Affinity Tailgate in the School of Business and Leadership parking lot from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 20th. After 11:30 a.m. football tickets only will be available to pick up at the Mustang Stadium ticket office. Crab Feast tickets will also be available for pickup at the registration table during the event from 3-6:00 p.m. in the Owings Mills Gymnasium.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19

Mass
10 a.m.  Convent of the Sisters of Notre  Dame de Namur, Adjacent to the Greenspring Campus
Join with family and friends in the Sisters’ convent adjacent to the Greenspring campus. After mass, go on a tour of Knott Hall and enjoy some social time before the reunion luncheon.

Alumni Milestone  Reunion Lunch & Presentation
12:30 –2 p.m.
St. Paul Companies Pavilion, Greenspring Campus
Classes of 1952, 1957, 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987 

President Kevin J. Manning, Ph.D., hosts this annual reunion event that brings together alumni and current and former faculty. Following lunch there will be a presentation, Living Safely in a Digital World, by Michael Robinson, Program Coordinator - MS Cyber Forensics.  Reservations required.   
Cost: $30 per person  Complimentary for reunion celebrants from  the classes of 1952, 1957, and 1962.  


Stevenson Happy Hour
6–8 p.m.

Welcome back to your alma mater while reconnecting with alumni, parents, faculty, and staff. Space is limited, so register early. All alumni are welcome.  
Cost: $10 per person and includes a commemorative glass.   Complimentary for faculty/staff and our newest alumni from the class of 2012.

Watch the men’s and women’s basketball teams kick off the traditional nationwide start of the basketball season. An alumni game, 3-point shooting contests, and performances by the Dance and Cheer Squads will be part of the fun.

Come out and watch our alumni battle each other in the our inaugural lacrosse game at Mustang Stadium

Gear up for Stevenson’s homecoming football game with classmates, family, and friends.    Alumni and parents are encouraged to register at the Hospitality Tent for coffee, bagels and donuts.  Enjoy tailgating and family entertainment with music, inflatables, food, and fun. Glenn Johnston, SU Archivist, will be displaying archival materials and sharing alumni stories.  Also, visit with faculty and friends in tents hosted by the Schools of Business and Leadership, Sciences, Design, Education, Graduate and Professional Studies, Humanities Social Sciences and affinity groups.

Homecoming Football:  Stevenson vs. Wilkes*
Saturday, October 20, 12 p.m. 
Mustang Stadium, Owings Mills Campus
Be there as the Stevenson football team continues its season vs. Middle Atlantic Conference rival Wilkes. This will be one of five exciting home games for the Mustangs during the 2012 season. Also don’t miss a performance by the SU marching band at halftime. 

Maryland Crab Feast 
Saturday, October 20, 3–6 p.m. 
Gymnasium, Owings Mills
Please join us for the 1st Annual Homecoming Maryland Crab Feast following the Mustangs football game. Enjoy Maryland favorites including steamed crabs, pit beef, fried chicken, crab dip and other menu favorites. Casino games, commemorative cup, music, and children’s entertainment will also be available.  Limited capacity so reservations recommended

Early bird special:  $30 general admission if purchased by 10/5/12, $35 after if available. 
$20 student ticket if purchased by 10/5/12, $25 after if available. 

$7 for children under 12
Complimentary with pre-registration for reunion celebrants from  the classes of 1992, 1997, 2002, and 2007.

Stevenson University’s annual food drive for the Maryland Food Bank will be held during the 2012 Stevenson University Homecoming  + Family Weekend. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected at all homecoming events. Please help us reach our goal of “Stuff a Shuttle” by bringing your donations to the donation box at any of the homecoming events.
